Sign of Our Times draws from a familiar element of Singapore’s urban landscape — the ubiquitous “Danger–Keep Out” construction sign. Created and launched alongside the rebranding of Bynd Artisan, this project marked the beginning of a creative partnership that would lead to many collaborations to come.
Executed in black and constructed primarily in leather, the capsule focuses on objects that protect one’s most important belongings — wallets, document holders, and garment pockets. Designed with restraint and purpose, each piece balances utility with form, remaining compact and unobtrusive when worn or carried.
Rather than reproducing the sign’s loud, public warning, the message is rendered subtly — blind debossed on the interiors of the products. What was once overt becomes private: a quiet reminder to safeguard what matters most.
